Grafitti Archi­tec­ture

Graf­fiti archi­tec­ture — "grungy and streetwise" — was how the New Zea­l­and Insti­tute of Archi­tects summed up the slender Perry Architects-designed apart­ment build­ing on Cuba Street. Make Some­thing on Friday

Make Some­thing, a "col­lec­tion of col­lab­or­a­tion" based in down­town Auck­land kicks off with an open­ing party Thursday even­ing (invite only, I believe) and then exhib­i­tion proper from Friday. Street View

Earlier in the year, the artist called Com­pon­ent achieved a new level of notori­ety by sim­ul­tan­eously being arres­ted for 'tag­ging' a wall out­side TV3 while hav­ing an exhib­i­tion on at Auck­land Art Gallery.
