Spatial typography public talk
Katie Taylor is stuck under a cloud of ash so actually won't be there, but get along to Massey anyway.
Reminder: Spatial Typography Public Talk / ISTD Awards Thursday 22 April 5-30pm
A volcanic ash cloud is paralysing air travel across Europe, as most of you probably know. Sixty-three thousand flights have been cancelled in four days, with millions of passengers stranded worldwide – and unfortunately, one of those passengers is graphic designer Katie Taylor, who was due to guest speak on spatial design at her alma mater Massey University Wellington.
Nick Kapica from Massey says that in Taylor's absence, the 2009 ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers) awards presentation will be accompanied with short talks about spatial typography from ISTD members Nick Kapica, Annette O'Sullivan and surprise guests. So definitely still worth getting along to if you are in Wellington tomorrow.
